It's Almost Time for Santa

1. Weather. Cloudy skies are in today, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 54, according to the National Weather Service. Wind is between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Mostly clear skies are expected tonight, and temperature will drop to a low around 27.

2. In case you missed it. : Police say Pacino Porter, 36, was arrested and faces armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges.

3. Happening. Santa will be stopping at the Depot in downtown Acworth on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. There will be a host of performances to help Santa kickoff the holiday season. Bring the entire family to hear Mayor Tommy Allegood read The Night Before Christmas and watch the lighting of the Tree on Main Street. Enjoy pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, eating candy canes with all his elves, and filling the streets with the holiday spirit.
