Registration for Citizens Police Academy Still Open

Here are the things you should know before heading out the door Jan. 19.

4. The is taking applications for its 11th annual Citizens Police Academy. The Academy will begin on March 1, 2011 and will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 till 9:00 pm (except for the week of Spring Break) and end on May 17th. During the twelve weeks participants will have the opportunity to interact with officers and receive a basic understanding of the operations of the Acworth Police Department.
