Senior Luncheon Today

Here are the things you need to know before heading out the door on April 19.

1. Weather. Today is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high temp near 85 degrees and south wind between 10 and 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Gusts can be as high as 25 mph. Going into Tuesday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low temp around 61 degrees and south wind around 5 mph. Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday.

3. Happening now. The is holding a Senior Luncheon today at noon. Join in for lunch, bingo, and other special activities. The luncheon will be held at Roberts School Community and Education Center in Acworth. Lunch is served at noon, followed by several rounds of bingo with prizes. This program is free to all seniors! 5. What about April 19. On April 19, 1995, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, OK was destroyed by a car bomb. The terrorist attack resulted in the death of 168 people, including 19 children. On the same date in 2005, Germany's Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI.
