Sunny Skies Return Tuesday, With Chance of Rain Wednesday
Chance of strong storms continued Monday.
The metro area will see some relief from the weekend's heavy rain by Tuesday, when mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-80s will return.
A chance of isolated strong storms with heavy rain, wind and hail continued Monday and Monday night, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Acworth.
Rain will again be possible Wednesday through the weekend, with the strongest chance of showers on Friday. Highs will linger around the mid-80s through the rest of the week.
