Top O' the Mornin' to Y'all!

Here are the five things you need to know before you head out the door March 17.

1. McWeather. The weather for this fine St. Patrick's Day is going to run the gamut from patchy frost before 8 a.m. to a high of 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. So you might want to start the day with an Irish coffee before moving on to the Guinness and Jameson. Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with a low of 43 degrees.

2. In case you O'missed it. : Several government figures, including City Manager Brian Bulthuis, Police Chief Michael Wilkie and Mayor Tommy Allegood, gave positive reviews to the passage of the SPLOST extension, which Acworth voters endorsed by a 59-vote majority.
