Acworth Candidate Forum Coming Tuesday
The event will be held at NorthStar Church.
The candidates for Acworth city, county, state, and national offices will meet to discuss their positions and ideas during a forum on Tuesday.
Eight men and women are scheduled to appear at the 6 p.m. event, held at NorthStar Church. The candidate forum is sponsored by the Acworth Business Association and moderated by WSB Radio's Pete Combs.
The following candidates are scheduled to appear at the forum:
- Acworth Post 3 Alderman: Brett North and C. Kevin Wigington
- Cobb County District 1 Commissioner: Bill Byrne, Bob Weatherford
- Cobb County Superior Court Judge: Ann Harris, Juanita Stedman
- U.S. House of Representatives, District 11: Bob Barr, Barry Loudermilk
