Acworth Business Association Golf Tournament

The Acworth Business Association is teeing it up for its annual golf tournament, which supports Horizon Field and the ABA's education outreach efforts.

Though the tournament isn't until March, the ABA is already looking for golfers and sponsors to help make the tournament another success in 2013.

The ABA is set to have the Ft. Lauderdale Scramble start at 9 a.m. March 25 along the beautiful Brookstone Country Club golf course.

Registration for golfers is $100 or $400 for each foursome. That includes greens fees, carts, goodie bags, breakfast and snacks, lunch and a silent auction at the conclusion of the round of golf.

Get involved and help ABA. Sponsor a hole for as little as $100 or another asset of the tournament like the putting contest. You can also be one of the presenting sponsors. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and the top three finishing teams. A silent auction will also run throughout the tournament for some great prizes.

More than 250 local businesses are represented in ABA, which meets the first Thursday of each month and provides a great business networking opportunity for any size business. In the last 20 years, the ABA has donated more than $20,000 to schools and other local charities through events like this and the Love the Lake Concert Series and the Taste of Acworth.
