With Easter Sunday quickly approaching, many kids will turn to their parents and ask for their very own Easter bunny. However, before considering a bunny for a pet, one must make sure they are ready for the commitment. This is why the Georgia House Rabbit Society has teamed up with Petco to educate potential pet parents on the responsibilities of having a rabbit as a pet.
On Sunday, February 24, 2013 the Georgia House Rabbit Society will be at the Acworth Petco with adoptable bunnies while also encouraging current rabbit parents to come down and meet like-minded individuals. Knowledgeable representatives will be there to answer any questions potential bunny parents have about care, feeding and habitat requirements. They will also teach consumers how to properly care for these pets and explain the commitment that goes into it.
In addition, current bunny parents can receive a rabbit manicure (nail trim) with a donation. All money raised will go directly to the Georgia House Rabbit Society to help fund "Bunny House", their first permanent facility to house adoptable rabbits.
