The Living Hope and Open Arms School of Fine Arts Celebrates its 1st Birthday!

Kennesaw, GA –
The Living Hope and Open Arms School of Fine Arts celebrates its 1st
Birthday on Tuesday, February 4th.
The School of Fine Arts was launched last February as a way to reach out
to the community and support those in the church and school; provide art, music
and vocal lessons at reasonable rates; and generate revenue to help fund events
presented by Living Hope and Open Arms for children and families in the community.

Throughout
its first year, the School of Fine Arts reached its goal of having 50 students and
generated $4000 to help fund events for children and families.  Director Joy Schubert is hopeful that number
will double by the 2nd Birthday of the School of Fine Arts.  The School also held its first recital
featuring 16 students this past November.

The School of
Fine Arts offers art, instrumental (brass/trumpet, cello/violin,
drums/percussion, flute/woodwinds, guitar/mandolin, keyboard/piano)
and
vocal instruction to anyone in the community ages 3 to 80 and beyond, and has
nine instructors on staff.
