Acworth Gang Member Allegedly 'Tags' Jail Cell

Authorities say a known member of Acworth's Insane Gangster Disciples is suspected of placing graffiti on the door of his Cartersville jail cell.

A known gang member now in state prison and wanted by Bartow County authorities is accused of "tagging" his Cartersville jail cell.

Justin Lee Clark, 23, of Acworth, a known member of Hall Street's Insane Gangster Disciples, had been assigned to a room in the Bartow County jail in which a "large amount of graffitti" was found covering the back of the door, according to a Bartow County Sheriff's Office incident report.

A deputy Saturday discovered the markings, which allegedly included gang symbols and the nickname "Lil J" carved into the paint. Authorities say Clark has a tattoo on his left arm displaying "Lil J."

Clark, who in connection with the markings was charged with criminal interference with government property, is serving a 15-year sentence on a Bartow burglary charge and 10 years in connection with a Cobb County incident last year.

Then a resident of Canton, Clark tried to strike a police officer with his car following an attempted traffic stop in Kennesaw, according to Cobb police. The chase ended when Clark crashed his vehicle into another car.
