Acworth Man Wanted in Fatal Shooting

Felony murder arrest warrants have been secured for three people in the killing of Christopher Pierce, 47.

An Acworth man is among three people who arrest warrants have been secured for in the shooting death of a man who was found dead Sunday evening in his home near Woodstock.

Cherokee Sheriff's Office Spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said felony murder warrants were signed late Monday for John Michael Taylor, 27, of Acworth, Benson Kyle Lloyd, 28, of Jasper and Krystle Gail Taylor, 27, of Dawsonville.

They are accused of shooting and killing Christopher Pierce, 47, inside his home at 147 Misty Hollow Way near Woodstock. Authorities were called to the scene after Pierce's father discovered his son's body.

The trio, who Baker said are suspected drug users, were thought to have been in the Dawsonville area, but all have connections in Cherokee, Pickens Cobb and Catoosa counties. These suspects are also considered "armed and dangerous," Baker added.
