A neighbor called 911 and was able to provide a description of the vehicle.

Two men hailing from Acworth remain behind bars for allegedly burglarizing a home in southwest Cherokee County.

Robert Jason Bennett, 31, and Cardell Richardson, 34, were both apprehended after they allegedly broke into a home in the Dockside Downs subdivision Monday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, a neighbor called 911 after noticing a suspicious vehicle park in the driveway of the home targeted.

"The neighbor watched as the suspects entered the home," Sheriff's Office Spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said. "The neighbor was able to provide 911 dispatchers with a description and tag number of the suspect vehicle as well as a direction of travel when the suspects left the home."
