Officials say there might have been more incidents in the metro area.

The Cobb County Police Department is investigating a series of automobile burglary incidents at the facility located at 3900 S. Main St in Acworth.

According to investigators, the victims-two females and a male, were participating in or watching sporting events at Kennworth Park on April 10, when all three of their vehicles were broken into. The windows of the three Chevrolet SUVs were knocked out, and various items were taken from them, including ladies purses, drivers licenses, credit cards, checkbooks, birth certificates, social security cards and cash.

A female suspect unsuccessfully attempted to cash a check of one of the victims at a Sun Trust bank in College Park on Tuesday (see pictures).

Sgt. Dana Pierce, spokesman of the Cobb County Police Department, said there have been additional incidents reported at the Northwest YMCA located on Dennis Kemp Lane in Kennesaw and the Aquatic Center located on Macland Road in Powder Springs.
