Cobb police on Friday released the suicide note from Geddy Kramer, the 19-year-old FedEx employee who opened fire on co-workers on April 29 at a plant facility in Kennesaw.

The five-page, scribbled note has left investigators with even more questions than answers as to why the Acworth man decided to attack that early morning.

“I’m a sociopath. I want to hurt people. ... This is not anyone’s fault but mine,” Kramer wrote.

The North Cobb High School graduate doesn’t blame others for his actions, “This was the result of my own issues: mental instability, depression, frustration, sexual isolation,” he wrote.

None of the six people Kramer shot before killing himself died, although a 28-year-old security guard was wounded critically and has endured numerous surgeries since the attack.

As the shooter explained, part of his intent was to make a name for himself: "Maybe a part of this is also the fact that a life lived in infamy is better than just another nobody.”

Kramer’s note is listed in parts below:

This stuff is happening because of the rabid religious nuts trying to impose their will on others and threatening severe punishment if they don't abide... the old "carrot/stick" method of intimidation. I have nothing against worshiping what you will, but insist that you keep your fairy tales out of my school and government and ~your~ version of "morality" to yourself. I know how to be a good and decent human being without threats and illusions.

Sandra - I was stating simple facts. You're welcome to your illusions.

Infamy. He sums it up. This is EXACTLY why we should give ZERO press to criminals/suspected criminals. Without the infamy, I think we would see a marked decline in this sort of crime. (It would also reduce the devastation caused to their family members and the wrongly accused.)

i see grown self righteouse adults & their self righteous groups teaching their children how to be the same & yet worse teaching their children how to hate, judge & be prejudice towards people who dont beleave or participate in their parents beliefs. what kind of affects will this have on these young children when after all young children just want to have fun, friends, play & just be kids. its just gonna get worse.
