Florida Investigators Arrest Acworth Woman in Undercover Pot Buy

Lake Sheriff's investigators sezied $405,000 in cash in the drug bust.

An Acworth woman and a Duluth man were arrested in Lake County, FL, for allegedly trying to buy 700 pounds of marijuana, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Investigators said the drug-buy was all part of an undercover “controlled delivery,” WESH.com reported.

Clarence Brantley, 63, of Duluth, and Tracey Roddy, 45, of Acworth, were carrying about $405,000 cash to make the purchase when they were arrested Tuesday, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Both suspects are now being held on more than $500,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
