Man's Body Found in Lake Allatoona
The Cherokee County dive team finds Friday's drowning victim near Harbor Town Marina.
The body of the Friday afternoon in Lake Allatoona was found this morning.
It was one of two drownings in the lake this holiday weekend.
Cyrille A. Leuekwe Tchippe, 28, of Woodstock was found by the Cherokee County dive team at 6:50 a.m. His body was near the , where he went missing, said Tim Cavender, the spokesman for Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services.

Cherokee County Training Chief Eddie Robinson made the search passive Sunday after divers stopped at 9:20 p.m. The rescuers then used just boats to locate Leuekwe Tchippe.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office had helped the county's Fire and Emergency Services since they received the call Friday at 7:15 p.m. Forsyth County's Water Rescue Team joined the search Sunday when the weekend's efforts were unsuccessful.

Leuekwe Tchippe was on an outing with his employer when he jumped off the boat and never resurfaced.
In the second Allatoona drowning, Gregory Edelin, 34, of Fairburn was pulled from the lake at on Saturday morning and was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
