Marietta Woman Accused of Helping Children in Acworth Home Burglaries

The suspects allegedly broke into two homes in the 1200 block of Parkwood Chase.

A Marietta woman is accused of assisting two juvenile suspects in two home burglaries in Acworth.

Between 5:40 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. April 24, the suspects allegedly broke into two homes in the 1200 block of Parkwood Chase and stole computers, computer accessories, a DVD player and a flatscreen TV, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

Duquana Mcknight, 18, allegedly picked up the pair "in order to drive them out of the area and help them avoid the police," an officer wrote in the warrant.

McKnight was arrested April 24 on charges that include two counts of burglary in the first degree. She was released the next day on a $25,000 bond.
