The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Monday that two people began fighting outside Diamond Dave's Steakhouse on Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw. One of the men involved in the fight, 27-year-old Kevin Compton, was shot.

Compton then got into a car with some other people, and traveled to the Acworth area, when it was discovered that Compton was seriously wounded. He was transported to the hospital, where he died.
