Rendering Shows the Acworth Police Department's Future Home
What do you think of the latest rendering of the new Acworth Police Department?
The Acworth Police Department this morning uploaded a photo of the latest artist rendering of its new headquarters on its Facebook page.
"The new department will be added onto the old CableNet building," according to the Facebook post. "We have been in this building since 1995 and outgrew it years ago. We are very excited!"
The current facility is at 4400 Acworth Industrial Dr. Construction on the new headquarters at 4406 Acworth Industrial Dr. is expected to begin sometime this year.
The estimated cost of the facility is $4.75 million, which was approved by voters as part of Cobb County's 2011 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
