Report: With Kids in Car, Acworth Mom Injected Heroin

Kelley Denise Rhodes was arrested Friday in the 4200 block of Wexford Downs Way, according to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office website.

Cobb authorities arrested an Acworth mother they say purchased and injected heroin with her two children in the car.

Kelley Denise Rhodes was arrested Friday night and charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, reckless conduct and driving with a suspended license, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The latter charges are misdemeanors.

Rhodes was arrested in the 4200 block of Wexford Downs Way, which is also listed as her address on the Cobb County Sheriff's Office website.

She remains in the county jail in lieu of $11,220 bond, according to her booking report.
