Update: Home Invaders Injured by Baseball Bat

Five suspects arrested, two injured, one in hospital.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the suspected home invaders injured during a Doubletree Drive break-in were hit with a baseball bat by a person inside the home.

Two suspects sustained injuries during a home invasion on Doubletree Drive in Acworth on Tuesday morning. Cobb County Police are investigating the incident.

According to a press release from the police department, the Cobb County Emergency Communications Center dispatched uniformed officers from Precinct-1 to the house after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor reporting suspicious activity.

When officers arrived, they arrested two male suspects in need of medical attention after they and three other male suspects illegally entered the home.  

Additional officers located and arrested the third and fourth male suspects a short distance away, while the fifth male suspect fled on foot. 

With the assistance of Acworth, Marietta, Woodstock and Cherokee County Sheriff officers, the fifth suspect was arrested within an hour.

The suspects arrested are:

Imanuel Tyler (20-year-old male from College Park)

Victor Lopez (19-year-old male from Lithia Springs)

Devante Brown (21-year-old male from College Park)

Terrone Mays (17-year-old male)

Ricky Carrasquillo (17-year-old male from Kennesaw)

Four of the five suspects are at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and burglary. The fifth suspect will be moved from a hospital to the detention center after he has been treated for his injuries.
