Victims Identified in Acworth Shooting
Medical examiner confirms deaths as murder/suicide.
The victims in Wednesday's double shooting on Benbrooke Drive in Acworth have been identified by Cobb police as Susan Sheriff, 45, and Christopher Kpendema, 49.
According to a press release from the police, uniform officers from Zone 5 were dispatched to a home on Benbrooke Drive in reference to a person down. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of a man and woman, both deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
This afternoon as a result of autopsies conducted on both bodies, the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that their deaths were as a result of a murder/suicide.
