Warrant: Exterminator Stole Drugs from Acworth Home

He faces four charges in connection with thefts here and in Northeast Cobb.

An exterminator hired to treat homes in Acworth and Northeast Cobb allegedly did more than just apply spray to the homes.

Michael Thomas Gorman of Marietta allegedly took hydrocodone from the kitchen counter of an Acworth home in the 4800 block of Thornwood Drive and hydrocodone/acetaminophen from the bedroom dresser of a Northeast Cobb home in the 4200 Reef Road, according to an arrest warrant.

Gorman was arrested Friday on two counts of theft by taking, one count of possession of a controlled III substance and one count of possession of a controlled II substance. The latter charges are felonies.

He was released Saturday night on $3,000 bond.
