Woman Pulled From Lake Allatoona Dies
Debra Hansard of Acworth passed away at WellStar Kennestone Hospital after she was pulled from the lake Tuesday afternoon.
The Acworth woman who was pulled from Lake Allatoona earlier this week has died.
Debra Hansard, 46, passed away on Wednesday at WellStar Kennestone Hospital, said Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.
Hansard was rushed to the Marietta hospital Tuesday afternoon after she was discovered by family floating in the lake in an area along McCurley Road in the southwest part of the county.
