2 More Women Accuse Waffle House CEO of Sexual Impropriety

Joe Rogers Jr. is already facing accusations of sexual harassment from an Acworth woman who once served as his house manager.

New court documents filed by the attorneys of a former female personal assistant for Waffle House board chairman Joe Rogers Jr. reveal that two other women have accused the Buckhead resident of sexual impropriety.

Both Rogers and Mye Brindle, an Acworth woman employed by Rogers from 2003 until June 2012, have filed lawsuits against each other.

Brindle accuses Rogers of forcing her to have sex with him during her time as his employee, and Rogers accuses Brindle of attempted extortion to get money from him with threats of releasing sex tapes she had made of the two together. Rogers has admitted to a consensual sexual relationship with Brindle.

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Brindle's lawyers are building a case that Rogers has  and the recent documents of accusations of inappropriate sexual comments, touching and sexual relationships from two other women against Rogers may be part of that defense.

However, Rogers' attorney Robert Ingram said the accusations by a former Waffle House human resources professional and former assistant to Rogers don't prove anything.

The former human resources professional testified that she had a consensual relationship with Rogers for 10 years. In the 1994 incident involving the former personal assistant, Rogers “allegedly put his hand on this woman’s back,” Ingram was quoted as saying in the AJC. “And this is supposed to prove some kind of pattern?”

The human resources executive said one wonders what would happen if one rejected a boss' sexual invitation and called Rogers "a bully...who preys on others weaker than he is."

Ingram called the former human resources executive "a jilted lover with an ax to grind."

The next pre-trial hearing in Rogers’ suit is scheduled for April 26 in Cobb Superior Court.
