  • Mandatory Saturday Voting for the General Primary/Non-Partisan/July Special Election

  • Earliest day for an Independent or a Political Body Candidate to file a Notice of Candidacy to have his/her name placed on the General Election Ballot. 

July 31, 2012

  •  General Primary Election

August 3, 2012, Noon

  • Last day for an Independent or a Political Body Candidate to file a Notice of Candidacy to have his/her name placed on the General Election Ballot. 

August 6, 2012, Noon

  • Last day for an Independent or a Political Body Candidate to file their Nomination Petition to have his/her name placed on the General Election Ballot. 

August 20, 2012

  • Last day for a person to register and be eligible to vote in the September Special Election /September Special Election Runoff. 

August 27, 2012

  • Advanced (Absentee In-Person) Voting begins for the September Special Election. 

September 4, 2012

  • Last day to file affidavit stating the notice of intention to be a write-in candidate has been published in accordance with 

September 21, 2012

  • Deadline for a registrar to begin mailing absentee ballots for the General Election 

October 9, 2012

  • Due to Columbus Day falling on Monday, October 8, 2012 the last day a person may register and be eligible to vote in the General Election/November Special Election /Runoff Election is TUESDAY, October 9.

October 15, 2012

  • Advanced (In-Person) Voting begins for the General Election/November Special Election. 

October 27, 2012

  • Mandatory Saturday Voting for the General Election/November Special Election  

November 6, 2012

  • General Election/Special Election
