Acworth Aldermen Recognize Individuals at Council Meeting

Mayor Allegood, along with Aldermen Price, Houston, Pugliese and Richardson recognized former Alderman Bob Weatherford and presented him with a framed collage and plaque for his 12 years of service.

The City of Acworth recently shared news of its Alderman recognizing individuals at a recent council meeting. From the City:

Parks and Recreation Director James Albright announced the Arbor Day Poster Contest winners from various schools to include; McCall Primary, Acworth Intermediate, Frey Elementary and Brookwood Christina Language School.  Each student was presented a certificate for their participation. 

Alderman Butch Price recognized Acworth Tree Commission Chair Cyndi McLaughlin and presented the 2014 Arbor Day Proclamation. Ms. McLaughlin presented the 25 year Tree City Flag to the City for its participation in Arbor Day.

Mayor Allegood, along with Aldermen Price, Houston, Pugliese and Richardson recognized former Alderman Bob Weatherford and presented him with a framed collage and plaque for his 12 years of service (2002 - 2012) and assistance with building the Acworth community.
