Acworth Man Wins $50K

Kenneth Wilson of Acworth recently stopped by the Stop N Shop on South Main Street when the store clerk asked him if he wanted to play Fire & Ice, the Georgia Lottery's new instant game.

Wilson, 51, bought a ticket, scratched it in his car and was in "total shock."

He'd won the $50,000 top prize.

"I asked the clerk, 'Is this real?' " Wilson said.

Wilson, a sheet metal fabricator, said he intends to pay off bills.

"The rest," he said, "is going into retirement."
