Cobb Honored for 'Green' Efforts

Cobb County was recognized for its efforts to improve air quality and environment by the Georgia Clean Air Campaign.

District One Commissioner Helen Goreham recently accepted a certificate of appreciation from the Georgia Clean Air Campaign on behalf of Cobb County Government. The county and its employees were honored for their long term efforts in seeking ways to improve air quality and environment.

According to Clean Air Campaign, Cobb County employees have eliminated 265,000 miles of vehicle travel, kept 133 tons of pollution out of the air, and saved $133,000 on gas and car expenses since 1999.

When I was growing up (in an SBC church) I remember the ushers being told "If a <n-word>Read More tries to come in, lock the doors and we will cancel church". In today's church, just replace <n-word> with "Gay"...
