Former Glock CEO Released from Jail

The Georgia Court of Appeals on July 9 overturned the conviction of former Glock CEO Paul Jannuzzo.

Former Glock CEO Paul Jannuzzo wasreleased from jail Wednesday afternoon, a eight days after the Georgia Court of Appeals on July 9 overturned the conviction, according to theAtlanta Journal-Constitution.

A Cobb County jury in March 2012 found Jannuzzo guilty of stealing a pistol and conspiring with another former executive to steal millions from the international gun manufacturer, has its North American headquarters in Smyrna at 6000 Highland Pkwy. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.

The Georgia Court of Appeals reversed that conviction last week because "the state failed to indict Jannuzzo within the statute of limitations," according to the report from the Associated Press.
