New Details Emerge About Skeletal Remains Found in Lawrenceville

Officials are releasing additional information in the search for the name of young woman, whose skeletal remains were found in a Lawrenceville neighborhood earlier this week.

Based on a medical examination, the remains are now believed to be that of a black woman between the ages of 19 and 22. In addition, investigators place her height at 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, police said in a press release.

Cumming Challenges Sunshine Laws Constitutionality

City of Cumming officials have challenged the constitutionality of Georgia's sunshine laws.

In response to a lawsuit filed by Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens alleging the City of Cumming violated those laws last April, , City Attorney Dana Miles said the law is unconstitutional.
