What's Closed on Labor Day?
Patch has compiled a list of closings in observance of Labor Day, which falls on Monday, Sept. 2.
All federal, state and local government offices as well as banks and schools will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day.
The offices for the city of Acworth and the Cobb County government will be closed for the holiday.
Additionally, the sanitation schedule in Acworth will be delayed by a day this week.
United States Post Offices will also be closed on Monday and mail will not be delivered.
City and county offices, schools, banks and all post offices will resume regular operating hours on Tuesday and regular mail delivery will resume on that day.
