Zoning Board Member Running for Alderman

Brett North announced at the of the that he is a candidate for Acworth alderman from Post 3. North is seeking to fill the seat held by Bob Weatherford.

The city election will be held Nov. 8.

“With a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm, I announce that I am a candidate for alderman this fall," North said. "I will be seeking to take Mr. Weatherford’s seat. I look forward to a good race!”

North, an Atlanta native, and his wife, Ann, live in the Blue Springs neighborhood just off Highway 41.

North serves on the Acworth Planning and Zoning Board and has served on various committees representing the citizens of Acworth. He also serves on the board of directors for his church and as president of his homeowners association and founded Tetelestai Missions Ministry.
