Congrats! 2014 Cobb Schools' Valedictorians, Salutatorians

A list of valedictorians and salutatorians who had the highest grade point averages of their respective senior classes.

More than 7,000 seniors from Cobb County’s 16 high schools received their diplomas and turned their tassels during commencement ceremonies this past week.

The last three schools, Hillgrove, Lassiter and Spayberry, had their graduation exercises on Saturday.

Allatoona High School's valedictorian is Kimberlyn Nicole Hughes, who will attend the University of Georgia in the fall. The valedictorian for Kennesaw Mountain High School is Melissa Rachel Downey, who also will attend Georgia.

North Cobb High School's valedictorian is Mary Francis McDaniel, who will attend the Georgia Institute of Technology.
