Students Medal in Cobb Science Fair
Students from Ford and Chalker elementaries brought home medals from last weekend's competition.
Two students from North Cobb schools took home medals in last Saturday's Cobb County School District Elementary Science Fair at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Will Cepress, left, a fourth grader at Ford Elementary School, and Madison Fulton, who is in the fifth grade at Chalker Elementary School, were among the top finishers in the countywide event.
Three times the number of students entered the fair this year over last year, showing that word is getting out about the quality and importance of science at the elementary level, as well as the interest of students in hands-on learning.
