Friday High School Hoops Preview

Here is what to watch for at the Acworth Patch on Friday:

Teams: vs. Kennesaw Mountain

When: 6 p.m. girls; 7:30 p.m boys

Where: Kennesaw Mountain High School

Girls Preview: In the last week North Cobb (19-3, 9-2) has taken down two powerful foes in Hillgrove and Campbell, and the Lady Warriors are now ranked fourth in the state. Kennesaw Mountain (5-15, 1-9) is at the bottom of the 4-AAAAA region standings and shouldn’t pose too much of a threat to North Cobb. But the Lady Warriors need to make sure they don’t give up a loss on Friday while they are looking ahead at Campbell next week.

Boys Preview: The Warriors (13-9, 7-4) have lost three of their last four games and look to rebound on Friday against Kennesaw Mountain (12-8, 4-6). North Cobb lost a Jan. 27 matchup against Kennesaw Mountain by four points and would like to avenge that loss, and put a stop to the slide it’s currently in.
