Friday Football Preview: Bucs Put Pefection on Line

Allatoona and North Cobb Christian travel while North Cobb and Harrison host.

Allatoona (8-0, 4-0) at Gilmer (6-2, 2-2) – sits at the top of the Region 7B-AAA standings and travels to Gilmer for a regional game tonight. The Buccaneers scored 42 points last week and will need to work hard to put up those kind of points tonight. Gilmer blanked Murray County last week and has allowed just 13 points combined over its last two games.

South Cobb (6-2, 3-2) at North Cobb (3-5, 2-3) – With a little help from Campbell tonight (Pebblebrook’s opponent) could sneak back into postseason contention with a win over South Cobb. The Warriors have lost three-straight games and can’t afford to lost any more.

McEachern (7-1, 4-1) at Harrison (3-5, 2-3) – For the first time this season, is on a winning streak, a two-game streak. With wins over Kennesaw Mountain and Campbell over the last two weeks the Hoyas now must upset McEachern to keep that streak going. McEachern has averaged 54 points per game after losing to Hillgrove and looks like a team with something to prove.
