Camp Acworth Offers Summer Fun

Looking for fun and safe activities for your child? Check out this eight-week summer camp for Acworth kids.

Camp Acworth organized by the provides a safe and active environment for children to enjoy their summer.

Campers enjoy various outdoor activities including swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, arts and crafts and team sport activities. Campers will also take a field trip each week to exciting places like Stars and Strikes, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium.

Camp Acworth is for children ages 6–11, and there is also a Middle School Camp for ages 11–14. The camp consists of eight, one week sessions beginning in June and concluding at the end of July. Normal camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours for early drop off from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and late pick up from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Registration is still open for both Camp Acworth and Middle School Camp. The registration fee is $95 per week for City of Acworth residents, and $110 per week for non-residents. Extended hours are an additional $20 per week for city residents and $25 per week for non-residents.
