Free Outdoor Movie in Acworth Next Month
The end of summer vacation is looming, but there are still opportunities to celebrate.
The Acworth Sports Complex will host a free screening of a popular family movie for "Back to School Family Movie Night" on Friday, Aug. 1.
"Rio 2" will be played at the complex's football fields shortly after the sun goes down. The gates will open at 7:00 p.m., says the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department.
Although concessions will be available, it is recommended that families bring their own lawn chairs, coolers, and blankets for the movie.
"Rio 2" is rated G and was released on April 11.
The 2014-15 school year begins on Monday, Aug. 4 in Cobb County, according to the Cobb County School District's website.
