Kohl's Recognizes Acworth Students
They now qualify for a chance to win a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program today recognized six Cobb County children who have made a positive impact in their communities through volunteerism, and three of the recipients are from Acworth.
Rachel Carmichael, Lauren Sawyer and Kayla Wivorkoski were among 69 people from Georgia who received a $50 gift card, a certificate and the chance to qualify for a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
Other Cobb County winners included:
- Sarah Ehorn, 18, Powder Springs;
- Garland Jones, 17, Marietta; and
- Aaliyah Rucker, 9, Austell.
