Acworth Police to Host Groundbreaking for New Station
The Acworth Police Department will break ground on the site of its future facility on Monday, Oct. 14, at 5:30 p.m.

Work Session/Mayor and Board of Aldermen
The mayor and board will have their work session Monday, Oct. 14., from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 4415 Senator Russell Ave.

Paychecks for Patriots Career Expo
The Georgia Department of Labor will host a career expo for service members and veterans at Chattahoochee Technical College's Acworth Campus, 5198 Ross Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.
First Aid/CPR Class for Acworth & Kennesaw Residents
A first aid/CPR class will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at Primrose School of Kennesaw North.
Fall Festival at Mars Hill Church Preschool
Mars Hill Church Preschool is hosting a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10:30 a.m. with local vendors, food, silent auction, inflatable slide, bounce house, children's games and activities and musical entertainment. Deadline to reserve vendor table is Thursday, Oct. 11.
