Stay Connected Through Your School's PTSA

Joining the PTSA helps one to be more involved in the school community. The PTSA supports all students, not just those involved in specific activities.

Hi! My name is Wendy Chiaravalloti. I’m the mother of 3 very active kids at 3 different schools. My oldest daughter is at , my son is at and my youngest daughter is at . I have been actively involved in PTA since my children entered school. I have served on the PTSA boards at Ford and Durham. I will also be serving on the PTSA board at Allatoona High School next year. In addition, I chair the Reflections committees at Durham and Allatoona.

It is hard to believe that Allatoona High School has been open for 3 years already! Although there are Booster Clubs for the many activities in high school, it is still important to join the PTSA. The PTSA supports all the students, not just those involved in specific activities. Some of the many activities PTSA was involved with this year include: Buc Bash, Weekly Newsletter, SAT Prep Course, Coffee Talk, Accident Avoidance Workshop, Reflections, Teacher Grants, Student Scholarships, Teacher Appreciation, Baccalaureate….and many more! With only a few weeks until summer, there are still many Summer Camps available at Allatoona.

As we wrap up this school year, I would like to congratulate the girls soccer team on winning their first game in the state playoffs! We look forward to having all families sign up for PTSA in August!!!! Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2011!
