The office of the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department (APRD) is located by Logan Farm Park. The mission of APRD is to provide the highest quality of recreational services and facilities to the citizens of Acworth. The department has a staff of 21, and offers various programs to accommodate the different needs of Acworth residents. Some of the highlighted programs include senior citizen luncheons, Camp Acworth, middle school Camp, sports camp, a pre-school program, and Horizon League – a program that provides athletic opportunities to children between the ages of 5 and 21 with mental and physical disabilities .
