Allatoona Makes State's AP Honor Roll
Students tested in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses.
Allatoona High this week was named a 2013 Georgia Advanced Placement Honor School. The Acworth school was designated an AP Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) School because students tested in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses. Three other North and West Cobb-area high schools received multiple honors. Like Allatoona, Harrison, Kennesaw Mountain and North Cobb were designated AP STEM Schools. But they were also named AP STEM Achievement Schools because at least 40 percent of the exam scores on AP math and science exams were at least a three.
