2 More Women Accuse Waffle House CEO of Sexual Impropriety

Joe Rogers Jr. is already facing accusations of sexual harassment from an Acworth woman who once served as his house manager.

New court documents filed by the attorneys of a former female personal assistant for Waffle House board chairman Joe Rogers Jr. reveal that two other women have accused the Buckhead resident of sexual impropriety. Both Rogers and Mye Brindle, an Acworth woman employed by Rogers from 2003 until June 2012, have filed lawsuits against each other. Brindle accuses Rogers of forcing her to have sex with him during her time as his employee, and Rogers accuses Brindle of attempted extortion to get money from him with threats of releasing sex tapes she had made of the two together. Rogers has admitted to a consensual sexual relationship with Brindle. According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Brindle's lawyers are building a case …

Waffle House CEO Accused of 'Pattern of Sexual Harassment'

Joe Rogers Jr. is currently facing accusations of sexual harassment from an Acworth woman who once served as his house manager.

An Acworth woman has accused Waffle House CEO Joe W. Rogers Jr. of 100 incidents of sexual harassment during her time as his house manager. Mye Brindle of Acworth said in recently unsealed documents that other women had been victims of Rogers' alleged "predatory sexual actions," according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Brindle's attorney David Cohen said Rogers exhibited a "pattern of sexual harassment and abuse," which could be a huge factor in the assistant's case if it goes to trial. Rogers' attorneys are requesting information about the alleged additional victims. Rogers first filed a suit against Brindle, 43, in September, claiming that she was trying to extort money from him with threats of releasing sex tapes she had made of …

Waffle House CEO: Forced Sex Claims False

But Joe Rogers said he did have "infrequent consensual sexual encounters" with his housekeeper, who is from Acworth.

Waffle House CEO Joe W. Rogers Jr. late Tuesday acknowledged a nearly 8-year consensual sexual relationship with his former housekeeper, but denied the Acworth woman's allegations of forced sex as a condition of employment. In a statement sent to various media outlets, he accused the woman of trying to extort "millions of dollars" from him. Last week, the Atlanta Police Department said it was investigating allegations that Rogers repeatedly forced the woman to perform sex acts on him during her time as Rogers' personal assistant. Patch does not usually identify people who claim to be victims of sexual harassment or assault. But the Marietta Daily Journal, which first reported the investigation, identifed the assistant as Mye Brooke Brindle…

Acworth Woman: Waffle House CEO Forced Me to Perform Sex Acts

The incidents allegedly occurred during her tenure as the executive's personal assistant.

The Atlanta Police Department is investigating allegations that Waffle House CEO Joe W. Rogers Jr. repeatedly forced an Acworth woman to perform sex acts on him during her time as Rogers' personal assistant. According to the Marietta Daily Journal, which first reported the investigation, Mye Brindle worked out of Rogers' Buckhead home as his assistant from 2003 until May 2012. It was at that Chatham Road home that the 43-year-old Acworth single mother said most of the alleged acts occurred, according to an incident report that the Atlanta Police Department emailed to Acworth Patch. “As a condition of Brindle’s employment, and against Brindle’s will, Rogers willfully, repeatedly and with specific intent to harm and oppress Brindle, required…
