Jim Vandenbos, manager of Art’s Bagels and More and son of Art, the owner, discusses what it’s like to run a small business in Acworth.
Q. What's the hardest thing about running a small business in Acworth? A. I would probably have to say the taxes and those types of aspects and regulations. Sometimes that makes it difficult to open a new business. There's a lot of what I call surcharges on certain things. And that to me is what sometimes can hurt your business getting started. Q. What's the best thing about your job? A. The people you meet. It's the clientele. We've been in business for 17 years now and we've gotten to know a lot of great people through the business and have been able to become good friends with them.
