Allatoona Continues Winning Ways
The Bucs' offense produces the most points this season.
It was senior night for the North Paulding Wolfpack as they took on the visiting Allatoona Buccaneers for the first time since 2009. The series tied 2-2, this was the fifth meeting between the teams. Not only was "the County Line Bucket" on the line Friday night, this game carried possible Region 5-AAAAA implications. For the past three weeks, the Bucs had been slow to start offensively. That was not the case Friday night. Allatoona took the opening kick to start the game and quickly moved down the field on three straight pass plays from scrimmage, finally scoring on a run by Josh Bettistea with 8:58 left in the first quarter.
