The Hoyas fall to Milton during the semi-finals.
Milton High defeated Harrison High School 73-52 during the semi-finals at the Gwinnett Arena on Thursday. Milton will advance to the state championship game today, March 9. The Eagles will play Savannah at 8:45 p.m. at Gwinnett Arena. Tickets are $10 for all the games today, which include the boys and girls AAAAA finals, the AAAA finals and the wheelchair finals, which kick off the day of basketball at 12:15 p.m. The Blue Jackets defeated Milton's North Fulton rival, the Alpharetta Raiders, in the other semifinal AAAAA game Thursday night.

Now that you're no longer cooped up in the house because of snow, here's everything you need to know about getting out to see some basketball on Tuesday.
Teams: Allatoona vs. Pickens Time: 6 p.m. Where: Allatoona High School Preview: Allatoona (7-7, 1-0) won its first Region 7B-AAA game on Jan. 7 and hosts Pickens (7-6, 1-0) on Tuesday for each team’s second game in region play. Pickens beat Murray County by 40 points to stop a three-game skid. Allatoona won their first regional game by 24 points. Teams: North Cobb vs. Harrison Time: 6 p.m. Where: Harrison High School Preview: North Cobb (12-2, 3-1) has won three games in a row and is currently ranked fourth in the state in the most recent coaches poll. Harrison (7-8, 1-3) is coming off of a 27-point loss to Region 4-AAAAA leader Hillgrove.

Teams: North Cobb vs. Harrison Time: 7:30 p.m. Where: Harrison High School Preview: North Cobb (8-6, 3-1) is 2-2 in the last four games, but each of their losses have been by one point. North Cobb and Harrison (11-4, 3-1) are tied for second place in 4-AAAAA play, the winner on Tuesday will take over second place all by themselves. Harrison has won their last two games, and won three straight within the region.
