Allatoona, North Cobb Are Playoff Bound

Both schools clinched the No. 2 seed in their regions.

Two area high school football teams are playoff bound. Despite a 25-7 loss to East Paulding, Region 5AAAAA runner-up Allatoona will host Heritage-Conyers this week in the first round of the state playoffs. Elsewhere in North Cobb, Region 4AAAAAA runner-up North Cobb is set to play Valdosta at Emory Sewell Stadium after Friday's 31-0 victory over Campbell. It will be North Cobb's first home state playoff game since 2007, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. Related content
