Visitors Saturday filled Main Street to sample culinary treats from restaurants in Acworth and beyond. The winners of the eighth annual "Best of" competition were: 1. Best Appetizer: Fusco's Via Roma 2. Best Entree: JD's BBQ 3. Best Presentation: Fusco's Via Roma 4. Best Dessert: Parkside Italian Kitchen 5. Best Booth: Henry's Louisiana Grill 6. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will showcase the diversity of products and services the local business community has to offer. Last year’s event attracted about 20,000 attendees, and this year, organizers are gearing up for an even more spectacular event with several new restaurants. Participating restaurants will go head to head and battle it out in the five “Best of” competition categories.
