Visitors Saturday filled Main Street to sample culinary treats from restaurants in Acworth and beyond. The winners of the eighth annual "Best of" competition were: 1. Best Appetizer: Fusco's Via Roma 2. Best Entree: JD's BBQ 3. Best Presentation: Fusco's Via Roma 4. Best Dessert: Parkside Italian Kitchen 5. Best Booth: Henry's Louisiana Grill 6. Taste of Acworth In Two Weeks
The 8th Annual Taste of Acworth will take place Saturday, Oct. 13 in downtown Acworth.
The 2012 Taste of Acworth, organized by the Acworth Business Association, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 on Main Street in Historic Downtown Acworth. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will showcase the diversity of products and services the local business community has to offer. Last year’s event attracted about 20,000 attendees, and this year, organizers are gearing up for an even more spectacular event with several new restaurants. Participating restaurants will go head to head and battle it out in the five “Best of” competition categories. The judging will be intense with three celebrity judges deciding who leaves with bragging rights for the upcoming year. While satisfying your taste buds, you'll also get to see local dance…

Please join us at today's Seventh Annual Taste of Acworth on Main Street in Historic Downtown Acworth from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. We have Patch goodies for you to pick up and would love to meet you in person!
